Our little family had two choices, focus inward and become each others best friend...or implode. Thankfully we chose the former, and the residue is that today we are still the best of friends. One practice the girls and I had while Rudy was working long and late to take care of all of us was to tell the 'continuing' story.<br />It would begin...Once upon a time there was this...<br />and the next part would pass to the next person who would continue the thought, or phrase, or sentence, or paragraph...and so it continued. And, guess what V., it always ended happily ever after.
