Beauty in the Ordinary

This is not about being brilliant, or extraordinary, it's not about wanting to be famous, or making headlines, or trying to impress...this about sharing a 'gift' each day with the world...to lift the spirit of people when they read this blog, to show them the beauty in the ordinary.
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." Raold Dahl

  1. As usual the Muslims have threatened to disrupt today's ceremonies in London. Strange how they turn up in England asking for asylum, then threaten everything we stand for.

  2. It's outrageous Cro, how those without values hide inside the ideology of a religion. Something in and of itself that should be pure and selfless.

  3. J - without realising I chose the same title for my blog as you. A poignant day here too.

  4. We had the oddest of ceremonies here today Molly. A bagpiper who was so off key it was crazy. An announcer talking right through the two minutes of silence. Politicians and Religious leaders who just don't get it! Oh my, but we do try! The wonderful part was a young woman's reading of In Flander's Field. Gotta love human beings...
