Beauty in the Ordinary
This is not about being brilliant, or extraordinary, it's not about wanting to be famous, or making headlines, or trying to impress...this about sharing a 'gift' each day with the world...to lift the spirit of people when they read this blog, to show them the beauty in the ordinary.
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." Raold Dahl

This is hilarious Z...didn't even see the numbers in that 'sign' until now...SO not my year! That is the sign of cancer (look closely, it's a crab!)
DeleteJuly 20 - our wedding anniversary...will raise a glass to you and us!
Happy Birthday, as you transition from Cancer to Leo. I hope you enjoy your month of champagne, and aren't too crabby!
ReplyDeleteTrying hard to be more Leo and less Crab Bear!
DeleteA month full of Champagne - sounds good to me.
ReplyDeleteThe only way to go Sock'em!
DeleteHappy Birthday Jacqueline. Lots of champagne can only lead to a bright and bubbly month.
ReplyDeleteI think so Chania...I'm still coveting your chairs though!
DeleteHello Jacqueline
ReplyDeleteI love your way of celebrating. An entire month of bubbly and why not. I say keep celebrating until New Year's Eve.

My liver might not be able to cope Helen! LOL!
DeleteI began life as Leo, then I became Cancer. I think the 'powers that be' have now decided that I shall remain Cancer.
ReplyDeleteMy oldest son, and his family, arrive on the 28th, and we always drink lots of Champagne together. I could almost have written your posting for you. I'm the 22nd by the way!
I'm the 23rd Cro!...but have been told by the powers that be that I am a Leo! (not sure how they figure it out). I like having two signs...definitely feel the draw of the home-loving/family loving crab most of the time, but love roaring like a lion every now and then.
ReplyDeleteLove your champagne rose J. Have a brilliant birthday on the 23rd xxxx
ReplyDeletea girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do Molly!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes (tanti auguri) for the 23rd and every day!
ReplyDeleteGrazie Relindis!
DeleteHappy Birthday to you, my friend. My son is a Leo, and my daughter a Cancer. Which one are you? I hope your day is a special one. Celebrate!
ReplyDelete~Sheri at Red Rose Alley
A bit schizo about this Sheri...I have the home-loving aspect of cancer, but the roarin' side of leo too...makes for an interesting dilemma!
DeleteSteering my own boat Sanda!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birhtday month Jacqueline...and happy day 12 of birthday bubbly celebrating!!!
ReplyDeleteMay this next year for you just be a plain old Beautifully Ordinary one...with no more 'funny business'...none!!
