Beauty in the Ordinary

This is not about being brilliant, or extraordinary, it's not about wanting to be famous, or making headlines, or trying to impress...this about sharing a 'gift' each day with the world...to lift the spirit of people when they read this blog, to show them the beauty in the ordinary.
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." Raold Dahl

J.  My eldest daughter, Lindsay, has this fab condo in the city (sorry, no...not the picture above).  She has it decorated to 75%, with one room trying to find a purpose and hence a look.  I found this sofa on "The Adventures of Tartanscot" a blog by interior designer/stylist  Scot Meacham Wood.  It would be absolutely perfect, (she already has an animal skin rug), add a kilim-covered footstool and
a chunky-old-loved-wooden table to act as a desk and you have a den~library that would be a pleasure to work late in (as she does so often). Now, the challenge is to find it, or some kind of reasonable facsimile!
