This week's photo challenge at
is Reflections
This photo was taken when we said a final goodbye to a sweet girl who had died of ovarian cancer.
She had asked for her ashes to be spread on a golf course in Florida, so
late one spring evening a few of her friends snuck onto a course
we all played together and sprinkled the last of her earthly remains around this pond.
The nice thing about this is that when we each go back to play this course,
we can give a silent nod to Nancy as we play the 5th hole.
Not only is that a lovely photo but a very moving story too.
ReplyDeleteReflection both literally and figuratively.
Beautiful picture, and such a touching thing you all did for your friend. The 5th hole is a very special place now :-)
