Beauty in the Ordinary

This is not about being brilliant, or extraordinary, it's not about wanting to be famous, or making headlines, or trying to impress...this about sharing a 'gift' each day with the world...to lift the spirit of people when they read this blog, to show them the beauty in the ordinary.
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." Raold Dahl

Tying things together...

Sister V. has posted about her
wonderful family

and John from Going Gently
has put up a video of a song from the new movie
True Grit.

He says he's not a fan of country music,
but I am
oh..I so am..

Now, (bear with me here)

I think there is a beautiful connection

between family and country music (HAH!)

Exemplified by
the gorgeous couple of
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill

...to my way of thinking anyway!

  1. Country music, it is about the troubling times of life. Love it, love it. However, I am 2nd generation Irish and we love troubles. Seriously though, we are all part of country music. For Americans, it is from where we come and goes back to generations and generations before.

  3. There certainly is a connection, J - most of the country music I have heard has been about divorce.
