Beauty in the Ordinary

This is not about being brilliant, or extraordinary, it's not about wanting to be famous, or making headlines, or trying to impress...this about sharing a 'gift' each day with the lift the spirit of people when they read this blog, to show them the beauty in the ordinary.
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." Raold Dahl

As fun as it was,

as wonderful as everyone was,

as exciting as the adventure was...

never has anything...

ever been more appreciated,

than just being home...

  1. And home to watch the Canucks take the Stanley tonight hopefully.

    Welcome home :)

  2. You made it then! No unwanted adventures?

  3. Be it ever so humble, . . . Glad you're safely home. In time, likely, to see the Canucks win Lord Stanley's cup.

Now you get summer all over again!

  4. Dorothy in her red shoes was right on, there is no place like (the comfort of) home.

  5. One wee hiccup Cro...we had left a car at Buffalo airport (we flew down to Florida because we were bringing our second car back to import into Canada). Hubby dropped me off and I drove to the Canadian border, only to have the darn thing die right at the border crossing agent's booth! Drama, drama, drama! Had to have it towed into the BMW dealership near home only to find it had the exact same thing wrong with it (ruptured engine coolant overflow tank) that the X5 had before we left Florida. The interesting thing was both cars are the same age and have the same mileage, so the same thing failed at the same time! German precision deterioration?
Rob, Raz...looks like we are going to have to watch one more game to see the Canucks take the cup. I know they are just waiting to win on home ice!!!!!

  6. Welcome home J...time to relish in being in your very own cocoon again!
    xo J~

Go on...make my day...
