Beauty in the Ordinary

This is not about being brilliant, or extraordinary, it's not about wanting to be famous, or making headlines, or trying to impress...this about sharing a 'gift' each day with the lift the spirit of people when they read this blog, to show them the beauty in the ordinary.
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." Raold Dahl

Expocycle de Montréal

Here's what stole my heart at the Bike Show

we just attended

so pretty...

oh, and yes...there was lots of other eye-candy too...

David Arroyo and Rui Costas of Team Movistar

 Simon Clarke of Team Astana

Cousin, Villeux, Rolland, Hurel and Gautier of Team Europcar

A girl can look can't she?

  1. The bicycles are delightful! Marvellous pictures!
The people are, well, um, people. What can you expect?

  2. I used to be a cyclist, but now have a dodgy knee. Team Cro still exists, but someone else is using my bike!

  3. It's the Brooke's saddle and saddle bags I covet! Hand-crafted...they are exquisite. Unfortunately priced-accordingly!

  4. When I was younger MOST bikes had 'Brooks' written on the back of the saddle. Lady M loves that taupe coloured bike.

  5. A cougar can!!!! lol

BTW my movie list is several hundred strong, the ones I listed are mostly lighthearted, feel good stuff, but I still love them as my go to standards, besides, Hannah took all the other comedies to school!
    Adore the bike <3

  6. Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, Canada!!!

I was born in Niagara Falls,NY, grew-up in Lewiston Heights and we spent most of our summers in your corner of the world. Such lovely, lovely memories.

Your blog is stunning. How lucky to have found you.

Go on...make my day...
