Beauty in the Ordinary

This is not about being brilliant, or extraordinary, it's not about wanting to be famous, or making headlines, or trying to impress...this about sharing a 'gift' each day with the world...to lift the spirit of people when they read this blog, to show them the beauty in the ordinary.
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." Raold Dahl

Cold/Fever

Feed a cold
Starve a fever?

or is it...
Starve a cold
Feed a fever?

All I know is I have a cold...

a full-on, make-you-stay-in-bed-all-day

COLD,

and I am really, really hungry!

So much so, that I dragged myself out of bed this afternoon
gave Rudy a shopping list
and made a ground pork arabiatta.
(I know technically it doesn't exist, but it was what I wanted so we made it up.)

A warm, fresh baguette and a glass of wine, and hubby doing the dishes.

I feel better already!

  5. Jacqueline. A wise man once told me that 'if you take every proprietary cold cure known to mankind, your cold will last for two weeks. If you take nothing at all, it will last for 14 days'.

I suggest a good book, a few radio plays, and plenty of pampering. Get well soon. Bisou, Cro.
