Beauty in the Ordinary

This is not about being brilliant, or extraordinary, it's not about wanting to be famous, or making headlines, or trying to impress...this about sharing a 'gift' each day with the world...to lift the spirit of people when they read this blog, to show them the beauty in the ordinary.
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." Raold Dahl

New Beginnings...

Funny how they come, new beginnings I mean,

even when you least expect them.

Even when you think you don't want them,

come they do.

Demanding to be viewed as the gifts they are.

One door closes,

as another opens.

New beginnings this weekend all over my family.
We will take them,
we will embrace them.

Move forward with our eyes firmly fixed on the objective, not the route.

Life isn't easy, but it's certainly not complicated.

Live is the mandate.

Love is the method.

  1. Beginnings can happen quite quickly, if you're not paying attention. If you're paying attention, you can see them coming. It's good either way, but it can be shocking.

I don't know why it is, but every time I come to your blog, ladies, I hear Sarah McLachlan singing "Ordinary Miracles." Happens every time. Kinda weird.

    Blessings and Bear hugs.
