Beauty in the Ordinary
This is not about being brilliant, or extraordinary, it's not about wanting to be famous, or making headlines, or trying to impress...this about sharing a 'gift' each day with the world...to lift the spirit of people when they read this blog, to show them the beauty in the ordinary.
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." Raold Dahl
You too, Jacqueline. I hope the sun is shinning for you the whole week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sock'em...a bit rainy and cold here, but I'm trying!
DeleteHi Jacqueline,
ReplyDeleteYour images are most uplifting and a reflection of the beauty that is in store for you this week.
Thanks for sharing
Helen xx
In the eye of the beholder right Helen? Wet and cold here today, but sometimes even that is beautiful.
DeleteI have a seed pack of those same, all red, round, radishes sitting on my desk beside me, waiting to be sown; but it's too WET. Good unsalted butter, and freshly picked radishes; food of the gods. Have a great week. Cro x
ReplyDeleteAfter Sister V's trip to Paris a couple of years ago, she introduced me to radishes and (good) butter...as you say HEAVEN! Now, home-grown radishes...that's taking it to the next level!
DeleteI happened upon your blog and love your beautiful images and words. I have joined as a follower and look forward to reading more. Nice way to begin the week!
ReplyDeleteLovely to have you on board Sanda...look forward to chatting with you.

DeleteI love all your pictures J, and they make me feel so much better too. Our weather here has been something else these last couple of days :(
ReplyDeleteWhat is it with this weather Molly? We keep being teased by the odd sunny warm day, and then Mother Nature goes and chucks all matter of stuff at us. We had hail and sleet last week. Roll on summer! How are the poly-tunnels doing?
DeleteLovely collection of pictures. I smiled well before the end. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking all the smiles radiating out into the Universe have to be doing some good right Joanne?
