This is not about being brilliant, or extraordinary, it's not about wanting to be famous, or making headlines, or trying to impress...this about sharing a 'gift' each day with the world...to lift the spirit of people when they read this blog, to show them the beauty in the ordinary.
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." Raold Dahl

Weather Forecast
This is our weather forecast for the week.
There will be no cycling or playing in the dirt.
Hopefully, between showers and dressed appropriately, a walk or two
Had trouble locating the ricotta I wanted, so it got bumped by a spring minestrone soup with turkey meatballs! As soon as this miserable weather passes, I'm on the hunt for the goat's milk ricotta!
Our forecast looks very much like yours. I cannot complain though, we have had many beautiful days up till now and we do need the rain. It has been mighty dry this year.
Hasn't let up one iota Molly...although we didn't get the snow that was predicted. Just hope this blows through quickly...I get cabin fever very quickly!
" ... Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more; Or close the wall up with our English dead. In peace there's nothing so becomes a man As modest stillness and humility: But when the blast of war blows in our ears, Then imitate the action of the tiger; Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood, Disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage; Then lend the eye a terrible aspect;
Damp and cool here - winter is coming in like the lion!
Oh no...I am supposed to be having work done in the yard...hope they don;t cancel.
