Beauty in the Ordinary
This is not about being brilliant, or extraordinary, it's not about wanting to be famous, or making headlines, or trying to impress...this about sharing a 'gift' each day with the world...to lift the spirit of people when they read this blog, to show them the beauty in the ordinary.
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." Raold Dahl

Love this. Cobwebs do tend to gather more in the winter, don't they.
ReplyDeleteTwo hours in Sock'em and I've finished the powder room and front hall (including the bottomless pit called a coat closet!) Stopping for tea just now and then on to the laundry room!
DeleteIt's on my to do list ;-)
ReplyDeletePretty images...Happy Springtime.
xx
The intention is to bust out all the negativity along with the dust Catherine...as much therapy as practical...clean home, clean heart!
DeleteBeen busy painting the kitchen today. Love your blog post J and pictures. Only four days until spring even if the weather doesn't quite believe it.
ReplyDeleteSnowing here today Molly I'm ignoring it!
DeleteHello Jacqueline
ReplyDeleteI have been doing the same here and disposing of unnecessary items. Even here in the sunshine state, the dust accumulates and discarding is vital.
Hope your week is special
Helenxx
I totally agree Helen...no matter the climate, we all need to clean up and clean out in order to move forward. If not, we stagnate. It will be a special week because at the end of it, new opportunities will flow!
Delete'Time to dust again
ReplyDeleteTime to caress my house
to stroke all its surfaces.
I want to think of it as a kind of lovemaking
... the chance to appreciate by touch
what I live with and cherish' Gunilla Norris
Ah yes Sis...that's exactly how I feel. And look what great news arrived yesterday only two days into the process. Just imagine what will be able to flow when I'm finished!
DeleteThat's how it all works, the yin and yang of life...it's now time to welcome in joy, happiness, health, abundance...becoming in alignment with all that is happening around you in the natural world.
