Beauty in the Ordinary
This is not about being brilliant, or extraordinary, it's not about wanting to be famous, or making headlines, or trying to impress...this about sharing a 'gift' each day with the world...to lift the spirit of people when they read this blog, to show them the beauty in the ordinary.
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." Raold Dahl

J. I'm feeling decidedly wobbly today. I think it's because my house has been turned upside down by this construction. I feel displaced. Can't primp, can't preen, can't even clean. When I think about cooking I look at the kitchen floor and think YUCK! We are sleeping in our guest bedroom, lovely, but not my bed!
Okay...I confess...I want my house back...sigh!

Gad, can I relate to your feelings! But it will soon pass & you'll have a fabulous closet to show for it. Now, you turn around & tell me the same thing ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to be so discombobulated...even when you know it's for a great cause. Hang in there...soon you'll be oohing and ahhing over your new closets and forget about all the tough bits..."just like giving birth"! ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the pep talk girls...yes feeling whiny and stupid. It's all good.
ReplyDeleteLili...right back at you darling!
Jacqueline, just a note to thank you for following my blog. It has been fun reading your recent posts...a big renovation project underway?
ReplyDeleteI have to say I am not envious...yet!
Your packing comments cracked me up...so true!
I have to take everything out of my closet and work backwards.
Crazy but it works for me!
Look forward to following :)
