J. We have a new term in our family lexicon...'wallying around'. I thought we were being terribly original, but it seems there is already a definition. According to the Urban Dictionary...wallying around means:
to drive around aimlessly with nothing to do
I actually prefer to use it more akin to 'faffing around', which again the UD defines as:
to muck about, wasting time doing something not necessary.
So there you have it...your choice, but it's almost the weekend so wally or faff, relax, enjoy!
I love it! 'Wallying around' works for me this weekend!
ReplyDeleteMe too! One shoe closet done! If I can convince Rudy to measure the double hanging thingy, I'll have the master bedroom closet finished today and then it will be wallying all weekend for me too. I'm doing nothing and going nowhere!
ReplyDeleteEffing around suits me
ReplyDeleteSame same Tom.
ReplyDeleteWallying of faffing, it's all good. I love your new closet. So much room and space for everything. I love the high gloss paint, it looks great. The whole bedroom is quite lovely. you did a great job.
ReplyDeleteI meant wallying OR faffing sorry.
ReplyDeleteInteresting about the high-gloss Chiana...my painter tells me as of October this year, in Canada, oil-based paint is going to be banned. Now I know you can get sort-of high gloss in latex, but it just doesn't have the richness of oil-based.
ReplyDeleteI'm going out to stock up on oil-based for re-painting...putting latex over oil is not easy!
