The days went by but she didn' t give up.
She knew her prayers would be answered. She could hear the voice
in her mind (the other voice) of her best friend Molly telling her that
finding the palm tree was the key to her new life.
And there it was, on this glorious new morning, she could
see in the distance a lone palm tree.
But wait...there was something else there, a camel.
Molly never said anything about a camel!
She walked closer.
The animal wasn't alone.
A man was standing in the shadow of the camel.
He turned to look at her, their eyes met.
He was not too tall, nor too short.
Not too thin, nor too fat.
No tattoos that she could see.
He had nice shoes.
And then he knelt before her.
Nice manners she thought to herself.
He told her he could juggle oranges.
She said she could too.
She had found her voice!
She knew then it was a love story
that would last for a lifetime
in this new land.
Not sure what this was all about...but it was fun!
But she never got the piano lid slammed down on her fingers, Victoria! I was really looking forward to that bit.
