Beauty in the Ordinary

This is not about being brilliant, or extraordinary, it's not about wanting to be famous, or making headlines, or trying to impress...this about sharing a 'gift' each day with the world...to lift the spirit of people when they read this blog, to show them the beauty in the ordinary.
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." Raold Dahl

Peel back the layers....

it is the underlying beauty of something in it's most basic form,
that is the most striking.

".........what is beauty?, but that which is revealed in the lines on a women's face...and in those lines, if you look closely, you will see an inner dedication of that woman to reconstruct her own values and actions. You will see written there a development of her own self-compassion which has led her to a greater compassion for others. In those lines around the eyes of her soul they show a true beauty of no longer being caught in the false game of judgement, comparison and assumption. Her face more naked now than ever, is allowing her to feel truly alive. Listen....those lines are vibrating to the music of her soul that has inherited a treasure than no one will ever be able take away. At the deepest level, this adventure of her growth is in fact a transfigurative conversation with her own aging. And as her heart expands and the wrinkles mutiple and deepen, it allows her to live a life of growth that gladdens her heart and takes away all fear".
