Photo Friday at Razmataz
and this week the challenge is
Egg
This little nest was sent by a friend
(who is coming to visit this month - yipee!)
It sits on my dining room table
next to the two beautiful glass birds she also sent.
It occurs to me that all the speckles in the shell
must be formed by what the bird ate.
So these little oval gems tell the entire story
of where they came from.
Mother Nature never ceases to impress me.
Great photos, and it sounds like you have a great friend! :)
ReplyDeleteThose glass birds are fascinating - are they blown, or moulded? (or both?)
ReplyDeleteThe nest and eggs are beautiful. olive♥
ReplyDeleteTom...not pretending I know what I am talking about here, but both birds have a seam, so I presume they are moulded.
ReplyDeleteJ - have a great time when your friend comes over to see you. I love your egg pictures - especially the one with the glass birds!
ReplyDeleteOh so very pretty! Love that nest. I like to collect the ones that have fallen to the ground. :) Kit
