Last Morning at the Lake


This really is the last morning at the lake.
Sitting here on the deck with a steaming mug of hot tea,
nobody else yet awake.
September will officially begin for me when I return to the city tonight.
I'm looking forward to this new month.
A new path awaits me.

I'm ready to begin!
