This is not about being brilliant, or extraordinary, it's not about wanting to be famous, or making headlines, or trying to impress...this about sharing a 'gift' each day with the world...to lift the spirit of people when they read this blog, to show them the beauty in the ordinary.
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." Raold Dahl
Elegant was the word that first came to my mind also, when I saw this photo. This type of anniversary is so bittersweet. All the wonderful memories blended with the sadness and pain of such great loss.
I'll think of you and your family today and your beautiful sister Lynne.
I hope this didn't sound like a cheap grab for sympathy. Really just wanted to acknowledge the life of a fabulous woman who is sorely missed. Thanks for all your kind words...I do believe in the power of joined thinking (some call it prayer). Puts a good, positive energy out into the world. Lynne would have liked that.
So very sorry, for your whole family. You can see that she had a sparkling personality as well as beauty, the word classy comes to mind. My husband lost his sister, my dear sweet sister-in-law, tragically four years ago this week. She was only 37...a very special soul, as I'm sure your beautiful sister was also (and always will be). Losing someone in their prime is quite challenging...blessings and prayers to your hearts. xo J~
I am so sorry for your loss. This must be a very hard weekend for you. She looks beautiful and elegant in this photo.
