I'd like to relate a story told to me many years ago about peanut butter.
A friend of a friend who lives in Singer Island, Florida
was attending her son's high-school graduation ceremony.
That particular year, they had several exchange students attend for their final year of high-school
from Japan.
One young, beautiful Japanese girl was chosen to be spokes-person for her group.
She rose to speak at the ceremonies and was asked to explain the one
thing, above all others, that she loved about the United States.
With grand smile and total confidence, she declared
"Penis Busser...I LOVE Penis Busser."
To this day, I cannot recall that story without rolling on the floor.
That is too funny! Don't you love foreign accents.

I needed a smile Jackie...and this was the perfect deliverer of one, so funny...poor girl. Do you have one for almond butter? I eat tons of it. ;)
ReplyDeleteO'h Jackie,you made me smile so as we have a gorgeous Japanese Aunt now very ols names Yumiko,my Uncle Arthur bought her hoem after the war as a bride,he had R&R for a shrt time in Japan on his way home and fell in love,how strange we must all haeve seemed to her all the harder as everyone still hated the Japanes but we just loved her.He taught her to drive and at 14 I remember us all sitting around and my grandmother asking"how is the driving going Yumi?" O'h velly good Netti,only pwoblem is I have trouble reaching Arsers crutch !!! lol we have told this story forever, she did wind up being a great driver and they had 3 lovely daughters she was a beautiful dressmaker and now is in her late 80's.Carole xx

ReplyDelete....hahahahaha....Jaqueline I just came in to give you the 'down low' on my mate 'poly' & started cacking myself ALL OVER AGAIN at the 'penis busser'....That will keep me cracking up throughout the week I reckon....!

Poly is 'polyurethane' a protective coating I apply to most my rusty stuff....Applying poly inhibits further rusting & allows you to use the piece around fabric as there's no rust powder/residue....Poly also has a tendency to darken the metal giving it quite a handsome look....I reckon poly ROCKS & it is probably my FAVE 'tool' in my workshop....!
