Beauty in the Ordinary

This is not about being brilliant, or extraordinary, it's not about wanting to be famous, or making headlines, or trying to impress...this about sharing a 'gift' each day with the world...to lift the spirit of people when they read this blog, to show them the beauty in the ordinary.
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." Raold Dahl

  1. At this time of year I always buy a few cases of pink; not for me, but for the girlies. Personally I find it a bit 'thin', and stick to my rouge!

  2. There is a good Rosè coming out of Hungary now called 'Eva's Vinyard (ooh look - I've managed to put a squiggle over the e!), but - believe it or not - the Rosè (ooh look - I've done it again!) which has won the top world prize this year, comes from little old England!

  3. Cro...sometimes thin is in.

That's interesting Tom...the part about the Rosé coming from England, not you being able to put a squiggle over the e...what's it called?

  5. My daughter-in-law brought a bottle of Rose (sorry no squiggle) over the other week and called it 'Blush'....I love that!

  6. I was hoping that nobody would notice that my squiggle was the wrong way round. Now I am going to have to start all over again. Right, a little experiment:

è no, my squiggle is permanently bent. I will have to seek medical advice. Bloody US key boards.......

  7. Oh, sorry forgot to answer your question, Jacqueline. What's it called? Dunno - I just call it a 'squiggle'.

  8. Bent squiggles are quite appealing don't you think? which ever way you look at them. You've got yours right J. Why haven't I got one on my keyboard, I shall complain!

  9. If you can get your hands on it J, try 'Joie' Rosé, from here in BC. It's my favourite right now!

Says on the label 're-think pink!'

    Really nice!
