Beauty in the Ordinary

This is not about being brilliant, or extraordinary, it's not about wanting to be famous, or making headlines, or trying to impress...this about sharing a 'gift' each day with the world...to lift the spirit of people when they read this blog, to show them the beauty in the ordinary.
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." Raold Dahl

  5. Delightful Sunday. Or any lazy day, for that matter.

  7. ...and I KNOW you love your work...so it's all good!

    Have a great Sunday sis.

Rudy and I are being pretty lazy ourselves today. We did go to a great bike race this morning, and then I baked a delicious peach cake. But now watching the golf, reading the papers, thinking about what to make for dinner, and the line up for next week.

  8. We are enjoying a lovely day of soft but constant rain. It has not happened often this summer so it is a welcome sight. I love the smell of it and the peacefulness it brings. It also gives me a reason to do absolutely nothing.

  9. No quiet for us today as we moved our kiddo into the dorm but some nice young men did assist us. We were cheered by how everyone at that dorm was helping each other!

  10. Almost frantic over here. Internet connection was dodgy all day, and with five laptops in the house patience was at a premium.

Otherwise rainy, and sticky, with all doors and windows wide open.
