Beauty in the Ordinary

This is not about being brilliant, or extraordinary, it's not about wanting to be famous, or making headlines, or trying to impress...this about sharing a 'gift' each day with the world...to lift the spirit of people when they read this blog, to show them the beauty in the ordinary.
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." Raold Dahl

My Grandpuppy

Miss Daisy

Lives in Miami, Florida.

Loves blankets and treats.

Indifferent to her organically-made-designer dog-food.

Hates vacuum cleaners, elevators and cooking tongs.

Favourite pastime - sleeping in the bed, under the covers.

Obsessively compulsive about soccer balls.

Tolerates her cat-sister Hankypants.

Adores her Mum and Dad.

I miss this girl!

  1. For some bizarre reason Joanne, it's the only thing she absolutely refuses to share!

    1. She definitley has her quirks (don't all pets?)...but she would be hard not to love.

  4. Miss Daisy is beautiful, how could one resist that little tooth sticking out? She sounds like an absolute character too.
When are you planning to visit her?

    1. She could have done with some orthodontic work as a puppy Helen...but her underbite does make her all the more adorable!

  5. I love all animals (except for one or two), and your Miss Daisy looks like a beauty. The sticking out tooth is just a bonus! I wonder why she doesn't like 'cooking tongs'?

  6. Me too Cro - and as for the cooking tongs thing - a total mystery. Jessica took them from the drawer one day to use in the kitchen and the minute Daisy caught sight of them she started barking at them...it's been the same way ever since.

    1. She wasn't a 'forceps' delivery, by any chance?
