'sloppy wet snowflakes falling this morning. No wind to toss them around as they fall in straight lines down from the sky. Temperatures high enough to turn snow instantly to water as they touch down. Old Man Winter having a last laugh as he folds up his tent and prepares to move hemispheres. No signs of Spring here just yet. Crocuses, daffodils and forsythia still resting in utero. The only reassurance for now of time inching forward is Mr. Robin stalwartly pulling worms from a semi-frozen ground. One more day of warm food, comforting fires and summer dreams."JP

It's been really cold here over the last few days; we even had another fall of snow. But, like you, I think it may soon be over. Spring is on its way.
ReplyDeleteI'm ready Cro, definitely time for a season change.
DeleteI just found your blog. Wow - thank you for such a beautiful, wise and enchanting gift!
ReplyDeleteHallo Tree...such sweet words - so happy to have you here.
DeleteI love the milk and cookies photo. I now I think I need a knitted milk cozy.
ReplyDeleteMe too Julie...if you find a pattern, let me know!
DeleteI can almost hear the sound of the wood crackling and the smell of the fire ......... thank you!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to find a way to make it my screensaver! LOL!
DeleteLike Katherine, that fire picture fascinates me - I keep wanting to warm my hands on it. Still cold, grey and wintry here too.
ReplyDeleteThe first time Molly, I've actually be able to download a 'moving' picture - and I've no idea how I did it!
DeleteHeading towards autumn here although a drought has just been declared here in Northland and more areas likely to follow suit in the next few days.
ReplyDeleteHappy to share some of our precipitation with you SH...and we are definitely sending OMW your way!
DeleteI am seeing some buds. Mother Nature has been known to play tricks so I am not putting away the gloves and scarfs yet.
ReplyDeleteWise move Sock'em...especially given the forecast over the next few days. Looks like March is going to roar in like a lion!
DeleteJac, you visuals are always quite lovely x
ReplyDeleteThank you darling...your visuals are always real - that's why I love you.
DeleteWe have many robins right now. I was able to work in the yard yesterday and left my sweatshirt on the porch--the dog lay on it--it was lovely. My apricot is about to bloom.
ReplyDeleteDon't you love those re-breasted darlings Celeste. No working in the garden here...just a big gloomy, sodden mess!
