Beauty in the Ordinary

This is not about being brilliant, or extraordinary, it's not about wanting to be famous, or making headlines, or trying to impress...this about sharing a 'gift' each day with the world...to lift the spirit of people when they read this blog, to show them the beauty in the ordinary.
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." Raold Dahl

New Beginnings...

Darling V.

Happy Easter to You, to Us...

To new beginnings...

Here we are, emerging, after a year of
enormous change for both of us.

You see, the stronger the wind blows...

the stronger the tree grows...

Full of joyfulness born from infinite gratitude...

Focused...ready to embrace this beautiful world...

What a gloriously wonderful time of the year!
Happy Easter Everyone!

  7. J and V. How very lucky you are to have each other. I'm not quite sure why I'm (we're) supposed to enjoy Easter, but with my youngest son arriving from Thailand today, this year's will be special.

Happy Easter to you both. Bisous Cro.

  8. At it's most non-religious level Cro, this time of year is about Spring and the beginning of new life, and If you do not believe JC was the son of God, at least his story is one of a good man who walked the walk.
And on a personal level, you get to have your child back with you for a while...sounds like a myriad of things to celebrate.
    Have a wonderful time.

  16. Hi Jacqueline
Thanks so much for popping in my way.. and for putting my giveaway button up.. much appreciated~!

You here in Aus things are a little mixed up.. For Easter is autumn which creates much confusion at thought of birth and renewal usually associated with Easter.. of course all the traditional holidays are at the wrong time..

I love the sentiment of your post.. and exactly as I think Easter should be..

Have a lovely day.. ciao xxx Julie
