Beauty in the Ordinary

This is not about being brilliant, or extraordinary, it's not about wanting to be famous, or making headlines, or trying to impress...this about sharing a 'gift' each day with the world...to lift the spirit of people when they read this blog, to show them the beauty in the ordinary.
"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." Raold Dahl

Thursday's Child

I am Thursday's child.

So is my sister Victoria.

We both have been on the road for a very long time.

One thing I know for sure...

We have 'far to go...miles to go before we sleep'.

This journey is far from over.

  3. I wonder if you know this Hollies song? Go to You Tube and look for... 'The Hollies. He ain't heavy. He's my brother'. Of course in your case it should read 'She ain't heavy. She's my sister'!

  6. How nice that you have your sister to travel with you through this life! My sister and I fought so much that we now get along better by staying apart. Sad but true.
